MATCHMAKING AGENDA

CHECK-LIST for MM

Please go through all the following points in order.
If you can answer “yes” to each one, welcome to the MM team at Bits25!
If not, it’s simply not the right fit this time — and that’s okay.
For any questions, reach out to Galina.

  1. Will I spend one day as a Matchmaker from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.?
    – Breaks will be coordinated on short notice.
    – I can attend the other two event days as a normal participant.

  2. Will I attend the in-person briefing on Sunday, 28 Sept?

  3. Will I invest a couple of hours beforehand in self-paced preparation for my role and the event content?

  4. Do I commit to giving my best — strengthening the MM team, empowering participants in their event experience, advising, guiding, and matching them — and thereby contributing to the success of the event?

  5. Will I, after delivering on points 1–4, also make sure I have a great time and get the most out of the event personally and professionally?

✅ Once I’ve read points 1–5 and everything works for me → I can now join the WhatsApp group.

Next Steps Timeline

📅 01–05 September

  • Receive first briefing draft: your role, your MM day, MM agenda & formats

  • Receive MM ticket details

📅 08–18 September

  • Review event-related info → self-paced preparation

  • Review MM-related info → self-paced preparation

  • Download event app and get familiar with it

📅 19 September (optional)

  • Get-together with Bits Team, Matchmakers & Volunteers

  • Start: 5:30 p.m. at smartvillage Bogenhausen

📅 28 September

  • On-site onboarding

  • Start: 2 pm at ICM

📅 Event Days 1 & 2

  • 07:00 – Arrive, store personal items, greet other MM

  • 07:15 – Final briefing at MM desk

  • 08:00 – MM team ready to welcome first participants

  • Tasks & breaks for the Day coordinated with Day Leads & Team Leads

  • 18:00 – Group photo (tentative) and a cheerful wrap-up of the day

📅 Event Day 3 at Oktoberfest (optional)

  • Join Table Captain or Topic Tables

  • Around noon – MM meet at MM tables

🍽 TBD October / November (optional)

  • Get-together at a restaurant in Munich with Bits Team, Matchmakers & Volunteers
